The Renovation
Hafannedd was purchased in December 2003 and as well as replacing all the basic services, major work such as underpinning and wall "stitching" has had to be undertaken to stablise the structure. The original poor state of the property meant that many original features had already been lost before purchase. Here are a few pictures, taken over the last 4 years, showing some of the property as it was and work underway.
We are currently (April 2009) working on rebuilding the cottage (see central picture below) which we hope will be ready for letting by Easter 2010.
