A brief history

Sometime in the 1600s a woollen mill, fuller's cottage and a weaver's house were built on the gently sloping banks of the River Clwyd in North Wales. The house became a family home about a hundred years ago and the mill itself has recently been converted into two holiday apartments.
And the name ?
Hafannedd means " summer haven" in Welsh but it is a wonderful place to live all year round. During the summer the house and gardens take on a magical quality, guaranteed to relax and refresh.
