A brief history

View from southeast (Click to enlarge) Sometime in the 1600s a woollen mill, fuller's cottage and a weaver's house were built on the gently sloping banks of the River Clwyd in North Wales. The house became a family home about a hundred years ago and the mill itself has been converted into two comfortable holiday apartments.

But don't just take our word for it, read what our visitors this year have written in our guest book:

"This was brilliant cottage accommodation. There was central heating and a wood burning fire, Sky TV and internet. There were groceries for us when we got there. The family who own Hafannedd are really hospitable. If you want a nice peaceful holiday, we highly recommend Hafannedd. It was brilliant.".
